FIELD NOTE 07 / EXPLORATION

Queen's Domain Sword Jump: Demo Lunge Technique

QUICK ANSWER

How does the demo sword jump work?

With the demo’s Rusty Sword, begin a lunge and jump near the end of its forward animation, before the motion finishes. The timing can carry your momentum across a larger gap. Players use this optional technique to explore beyond the normal demo route; it is separate from the Holy Sword Endu’s advertised flight.

Where and how should you practice?

Judge the landing distance, not jump height. The original exploration thread describes increased forward travel rather than a higher jump. There is no verified universal frame count.

  1. Equip the original Rusty Sword used in the demo reports.
  2. Take the stairs beside the first save crystal to the practice ledge.
  3. Face the nearby landing ledge and begin the sword’s lunge.
  4. Jump near its furthest forward extension, before the animation finishes.
  5. Repeat from the same starting point, changing the jump timing slightly each attempt.

Why might the crossing be too short?

How does this differ from Endu’s flight?

Official material describes the Holy Sword Endu as a gap-crossing traversal weapon with upgrades. The demo trick instead carries momentum from another sword and reaches normally inaccessible areas. Its behavior in the full release has not been established by the sources checked here.
